Borrowers should note that 100% mortgage financing will result in no property equity until such time as the loan principal is paid down through regular mortgage payments and/or the property value appreciates. Additionally, if property values decline you could owe more than your property’s value.

** Adjustable Rate Mortgage (ARM) products have interest rates that may increase after consummation.

Miss Deed

Dear Miss Deed:

I have what I think is a simple question, although I am not sure if I should be asking you or whomever heads up the World Job Bank.

When I participated in the World Job Bank, I entered the doctors into my database. My recruiters then sent them job or practice opportunities. I remembered from my User Agreement that jobs are the only subject I can contact doctors about.

Our company is now going into several different venues involving doctors and we want to contact them as potential clients. I assume that since we are no longer a participant in the World Job Bank that we can send the doctors whatever we wish.

Free At Last

Dear Free:

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but your assumption is incorrect. But before I briefly explain why, I’ll clarify that writing to me was correct since the User Agreement you signed allowing you to participate in the World Job Bank includes language that says in essence, any violation of the User Agreement is potentially a violation of the Code of Ethics.

Both the User Agreement and the Code of Ethics have specific language indicating that registered physicians can only be contacted about jobs. To further protect these doctor registrants, the User Agreement says that the terms survives the organization’s participation in the World Job Bank. In other words, even though you no longer are on the World Job Bank, you still cannot contact the doctors with anything other than a job.

So, I urge you to be careful. Hopefully when you entered the World Job Bank doctors in your databank you tagged them in some way, so you can bypass them when you send marketing materials to your other doctors. If you should contact the NAPR World Job Bank doctors on purpose or inadvertently, you could be subject to significant liquidated damages (something like a fine) and be sanctioned under the Code of Ethics.

NAPR is the only job bank in the world that prohibits sending material other than jobs to registrants. We know they get bombarded so in our little way we are trying to make things just a little easier and better for them.

Cordially yours,

Miss Deed
